Why Dedicated Therapy Started
Stroke recovery expert

In 2016, Shannon left 18 year career of working for large corporate healthcare organizations to start a clinic that could focus on each patient in a more complete way.  She was tired of the traditional “one and done” therapy models. The policy of providing one plan of care for a person and sending them on their way; without a way to continue to support the gains made in therapy.

She discovered that many people in our community have a need for support that a knowledgeable Physical Therapist can provide.  An expert in providing programs to help people reach their goals for mobility and independence outside of traditional Physical Therapy plans of care.  That is why she chose to open Dedicated Therapy in Greenville and offer Grouphab® group Exercise classes and PWR! Parkinson's Exercise Classes.  Now, Dedicated Therapy has a variety of services that can’t be found at typical therapy clinics.  These services are tailored for people who want to continue doing the things that they love or want to keep working on improving their neurological condition.  We are here to support you every step of the way.

Shannon graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelors of Science and with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami.

She has a background of working with all older adults, including those with complex chronic neurologic conditions like Stroke and Parkinson’s.  She is Neuro-IFRAH® Certified and Advanced Train with over 300 hours of training in Stroke and Brain Injury specific treatment. . She is also a PWR! Certified therapist for the treatment of people with Parkinson’s Disease.
